Anil Saini

Anil Saini, Product Design: 1983, has made a significant contribution to the automotive design eco-system of the country. The contributions are not only as a designer, but also as a person who has developed automotive studio infrastructure, personals, methods and processes. His contribution is more significant in two-wheeler design as it was carried out against odds at an industry which did not have infrastructure and systems to support transportation design. The famous and popular Bajaj Sunny designing by him achieved iconic status. His contribution to the automation of the design process using CAID (Computer-Aided Industrial Design) tools was phenomenal. Presently, Anil is the Design Director at General Motors, Bangalore. He had worked at Bajaj Auto and PTC prior to joining General Motors.
