Tools and Materials
The block printing tools are:
• Wooden Blocks: Wooden Blocks are used to print the designs on the cloth.
• Printing Table: Printing table is to spread the fabric across and print.
• Pins: Pins are used to stiffen the cloth on the table.
• Brushes: Brushes are used to clean the surface for better printing.
• Chisels: Chisels are used to carve the wood block according to the design.
• Fabric: Clothe material that has to be block printed is used.
• Color: Pigment colors are used to dye the fabric.
• Squeegee: Squeegee is used to spread the ink.
