Project Title: Art in public spaces of Jaipur Supervisor : Prof. Alka Hingorani 'Analyzing the role and effect of art patronage and policy on art production' is my research study which is based on Art in public spaces of Jaipur. It seeks to understand the formation of collective aesthetics expressed by public art, which reflect focus of government or private funding sources, making public art a critical record of political and cultural discourse of the given time period. This enables an understanding of changes in politics and culture which in turn effects creative production and aesthetics which is revealed through the artist's works at public space within the fabric or urban design. |
