Tools and Raw Materials
• Wood: Milk wood/alle mara (bana tree) is used to make the face, hands and feet of the puppet and also used to make the controller.
• Cotton fabric: is used to make the body part like neck, arms, legs and chest.
• Recycled/used cloth: Used as a filling material.
• Strings: Copper or brass strings are connected to parts of the body and the controller.
• Natural colors: Used for coloring the puppets.
• Needle and Thread: Used for stitching the cotton fabric and also used for joining the parts.
