The project is a design intervention in the current system of a government scheme NREGS (National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme). Design research done during project, identified several problems in execution and usability of the current system, resulting in less transparency, overburdened stakeholders and manipulation of data. Final design solution tackles these problems at different levels in following ways:
1) A kiosk based system for illiterate & semiliterate Job seekers
2) Application for Program Officer for allotment of work
3) A mobile phone based voice attendance & work measurement system
