International Relationships:
The International Relations Office at IIT Bombay oversees and coordinates all international programmes of the IIT Bombay, including that of IDC. Its aim is to promote new relationships between overseas universities and institutions and IIT Bombay (IITB), and to help define the scope of such relationships through appropriate Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs).

Industry, R and D Relationships:
Industrial Research & Consultancy Centre (IRCC) coordinates the overall research and development activities at IIT Bombay.

IRCC activities include :

. Joint collaborative programmes with other Institutes in India and other countries
. Technology Development Mission Projects
. Sponsored Student Projects
. Externally Funded Research Centres / Facilities
