IIT Bombay provides accommodation for guests (invited or visiting faculty, alumni, participants in workshop/ seminars organized by IDC) in either the Institute Guest House, CEP Guest House or the Staff Hostel. To avail of accommodation, bookings have to be done in advance and through the office   at IDC. All these are located within the campus and within walking distance of IDC. During vacations, in the months of May, June and December, accommodation is available for guests (students from other IITs and partner institutions, participants in workshops/seminars organized by IDC, parents of students and students attending IDC admission test) in the student hostels. IIT has two girls and ten boys' hostels within its campus. These need to be booked in advance through the office  at IDC.
