The Design Degree Show by IDC School of Design is a prestigious event that highlights the creativity and innovation of our graduating students as they unveil their final projects. Each year, the DDS provides a platform for our students to showcase their skills, ideas, and the transformative journey they've undergone at IDC.
This year, the DDS is centered around the theme of "Impressions," symbolizing the lasting impact that the IDC experience has had on our students. Through their projects, they reflect the diverse experiences, learnings, and memories that have shaped their time here. "Impressions" encapsulates the unique mark that IDC has imprinted on each student, influencing not only their design thinking but also their personal growth. This theme celebrates the essence of their journey—where every interaction, every challenge, and every success has left an indelible impression, contributing to the designers they have become today.
This year DDS was organised on the first floor of RBTIC. The event was inaugurated by Santosh Shelar and Prof. Suryanarayana Doolla, Dean Student Affairs. We had Dr. Geetha Narayanan visit the design degree show along with the graduating students and their families. We also had visitors from outside campus who were eager to see all the display and listen to students present their projects. Animation projects were screened for people to see in the mini theatre.
