The aim of the project was to create installations which explores how different mediums like internet, media forms and design through texts, videos, sounds, animation etc is used to discover the muted lives in metropolis of Delhi.
Two design ideas were implemented, ‘Radio Installation’ which encouraged local people to tune in to a particular radio frequency on their mobile to listen to local interviews & conversations and ‘Sound Book’ which gave users new experience of reading their local stories with context based sound and music. These installations were put up in Dakshinpuri, a resettlement colony in Delhi.
