RESUME
Loves me.. Loves me not.. :A short animation film on emotion of flower
Guide: Prof. Raja Mohanty
Everyone has the right and should have the opportunity to enjoy the beauty and fragrance of the
beautiful fragile flowers, instead of plucking them. Flowers life is short and sometimes we make it shorter. But in
their short span life they try to give their life to others and make them happy. We have never cared about them or
their emotions.
Through my project with the help of animation and fantasy I have not only made the movie to entertain
them but also to make them realize the emotion and pain of flowers. After watching the moving I at least expect people
to think twice before they pluck the delicate beauty
Summer Internship : Famous house of animation, Mumbai
I did my summer internship at Famous House of Animation and worked under the 2D Animation department.
I worked on some illustrations to be used as background design for an advertisement for Sulekha .com.
I joined the 2d
animation group where pre-production of the advertisement was in progress. I gave my major contribution for the
background design. I also got an opportunity for character animation in cut-out animation style.
Short animation movie on Umbrella
Guide: Prof. Sumant Rao
My story is about a small girl, a man and his umbrella. Story is based and looked upon from the man’s
perspective as well as the small girl’s point of view. With the help of stop motion animation I tried to create an
illusion effect in the man’s mind.
The character of man is not happy with his umbrella & the small girl gets really
fascinated with this same umbrella. Through, animation I wanted to convey, no thing in this world is labelled as
good or bad, it’s the way of seeing by a human mind towards a particular object. The best thing you can derive from
this story is, if you have a positive attitude everything in this world will look beautiful.
