This project provides one solution that can motivate the children to develop their verbal linguistic skills by the lip reading method.

As part of this project teachers, parents, children were interviewed to understand their problems and developed solutions. Thus many ideas and concepts were developed and were frequently tested. The final product developed for this project deals with the development of verbal linguistic ability of the children in hindi, through a play activity that involves lip reading and role playing.. The product ‘Vak Dhar’ involves a board game that uses cards, masks, magic wand, dice, place holders.
