Visual Essay on Panchavati
Guide: Prof. Raja Mohanty
In my hometown Nashik, a small area called Panchavati in particular has
retained its classical flavour. Beyond this area, the flavour seems to have lost in the wave of development and
modernisation. The project aims at highlighting the interesting visuals of Panchavati reflecting on several aspects
like living, modernisation, classic details, people and activities. The intention is to create images that reflect the
essence of Panchavati and recreate experience through these images.
